The Stilo ST5 GT Zero 8860, "La Passione di Evolvere" - A passion to evolve.
This was the slogan used by Stilo at their World Launch of the new ST5 range of helmets, and it summarises the working ethos of Stilo in the production of their helmets and electronics.
The Stilo ST5 8860 GT Zero helmet is packed with technology all incorporated to give the best protection to the user, and functional benefits for the driver that other helmet manufacturers do not.
The Zero is manufactured in 100% T1000 carbon making it the lightest motorsport helmet range, not just light, it has also passed the toughest standard available, The FIA8860-2018 standard is required on all World Championships and on certain international events and selected race series. The Zero GT is the helmet of choice for the biggest majority of professional drivers, as its weight advantage benefits a driver greatly on longer in car stints in endurance racing under heavy G-forces. This helmet is also the ultimate choice for a competitor that wants the best protection available, whether the 8860 standard is required for events or not.
The ST5 8860 GT Zero is fitted with HANS posts and has an adjustable sunshade, and comes with an ST5 short visor can be added for a striking looking and better sun protection when needed. This helmet can also be converted into the Formula model with a long visor and a long visor fitting kit all of which come with this helmet as standard, as well as a Stilo HANS helmet bag.
The helmet is fitted with a Stilo microphone and a connection for earplugs, and with the built-in comm port it is much easier for radio connection during driver changes, There is an additional port on the opposite side of the helmet for a built-in drink system that is supplied with this model, which has a quick release connector and allows a drinks system to be fitted internally without modifying the helmet. With its built-in upper ventilation system, and when using the top air system which again comes with this helmet as a standard item, provides fresh air internally for the head and face which is vital in modern race cars.
The complete functionality of this helmet, with all of its driver-friendly benefits, makes the Stilo range the worlds most chosen saloon and Le Mans car racing helmet.
Internal padding can be changed for a totally bespoke fitment when customers visit our premises.
