The Stilo ST5 8860 GT helmet is packed with technology all incorporated to give the best protection for the user.

The FIA8860 standard is required on all World Championships and on other certain international events and selected race series (please check your championship regulations for clarification). Absorbing 50% more impact energy and 30% better penetration energy it is a helmet of choice for the most safety-conscious competitor, whether the standard is required for events or not.

Stilo products have always been at the forefront of safety and technology and this GT helmet range is no exception.

The ST5 8860 GT is fitted with HANS posts and has an adjustable sunshade, and with the additional extras, there is the ST5 short visor can be added for a striking looking and better sun protection when needed. This helmet can also be converted into the Formula model with a long visor and a long visor fitting kit, again, all available as an optional extra.

The helmet is fitted with a Stilo WRC microphone and a connection for earplugs, and with the built-in comm port it is much easier for radio connection during driver changes, There is an additional port on the opposite side of the helmet for a built-in drink system, this kit has a quick release connector and allows a drinks system to be fitted without modifying the helmet. With a built-in upper ventilation system, and when using the top air system which is available as an extra, will provide fresh air internally for the head and face which is vital in modern race cars
