The MXG 1.2 Dash Logger has a 7" TFT display, and can acquire and display data coming from your ECU.
Key Features:
The AiM MXG 1.2 Dash Logger has an extra wide 7" high contrast display which is fully configurable by the user and is suitable for many different motorsports categories. The MXG has been designed to acquire and display data coming from your ECU, the internal accelerometer and gyro, the GPS08 Module analogue/digital inputs and predefined math channels.
Your performance and data acquired can also be incremented by adding up to eight expansion modules.
The main difference between this MXG and the MXS, MXP dash loggers are the size.
Connecting the MXG 1.2 dash to your ECU ( standard vehicle or racing ECU) is very simple. You can sample and display dozens of channels straight from your vehicles ECU. This is normally the quickest set up. Needing only a cable connection to the ECU instead of multiple connections to analogue sensors.
Your sampled data depends on the actual ECU but typically RPM, engine load, throttle position, (TPS), oil, air, water temperature, oil pressure, battery voltage, speed, gear, lambda value (air/fuel ratio). The list of available ECU drivers is constantly updated and upgraded and includes approximately 1,000+ ECUs. Either stock or racing.
You can define all the custom pages you want, choosing from a wide library of page styles, defining which data to be shown, their end scale and measure units. Swapping between pages can be managed pushing one or two push buttons.
There are eight configurable RGB alarm LEDs. You can choose the conditions & colours. You can select a solid alarm or a flashing one and the flashing frequency, you can even choose to have a accompanying text message and set the alarm priorities.
For integrated shift lights you can choose from a host of advanced multi-coloured RGB shift light patterns that can be customised to how you want, and for each unique gear when required.
The GPS08 Module connected via CAN to the MXG makes lap time calculation and track position analysis very easy. Each MXG memory stores more than 4,000+ tracks start and finish line coordinates.
If the tracks is not on the data base its no problem, you can add the start & finish coordinates to the MXG via your PC before you go to the track using our Race Studio 3 software.
Choose which cable length you want.
With the CAN Output you can send messages directly to an existing CAN network in order to improve the range of vehicle control possibilities.
MXG 1.2 features two digital outputs. The two digital outputs (Dout) are LOW SIDE type (switch to ground) they can be configured in order to be turned on/off depending on the value of the analog or digital inputs.
They permit to automatically run external systems, i.e. to switch on/off additional lights, to activate/de-activate a cooling fan or circulation pumps, etc, when a certain event happens.
With the MXG you can choose from a host of advanced multicoloured RGB shift light patterns that can be customised as want them to be, also for each unique gear when required.
Below is an example of items that can be added to our MXG for incrementing the performance and the data.
The 37 pin harness comes standard in the kit, should you need more data you can add our 22 pin harness as an optional extra.
